Privacy Policy

AiduoMind is built for children. That means privacy is not a setting—it is the product. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we refuse to do. We are an early-stage pilot; if anything here changes before a wider launch, we will update this page and notify pilot parents by email.
Who we are
AiduoMind (“we”, “us”) operates aiduomind.com and the AiduoMind learning app. Contact: mikbalvia@aiduomind.com.
Who the product is for
Children aged roughly 4 to 12 use the lessons. A parent or legal guardian creates and controls the account. We do not offer child-only sign-up.
What we collect
- Parent account details — name, email, and basic household preferences needed to run the pilot.
- Child profile — first name or nickname, age band, language preference, and interests used for personalized explanations (for example “football” or “trucks”).
- Learning activity — lessons attempted, answers, hints used, streaks, and progress signals so Duo can tutor and so we can send the weekly parent note.
- Device & technical data — app version, coarse device type, crash logs, and connection quality. We do not need precise GPS for the product to work.
- Website — standard server logs when you visit this site. We do not run advertising trackers or sell audience data.
How we use AI
Duo’s tutoring dialogue uses AI models to generate lesson-scoped hints and explanations. Prompts are limited to the lesson on screen, the child’s learning state, and approved personalization cues. We do not use children’s lesson content to train AiduoMind’s own models, and we do not allow children’s data to be used to train third-party foundation models. We keep lesson context as small as the tutor needs.
What we will never do
- Sell children’s personal information.
- Show ads, social feeds, messaging, or stranger contact features.
- Offer an open-ended AI chat outside the lesson.
- Create accounts for children without a parent.
- Optimize for endless screen time—sessions end when the daily goal is done.
Sharing
We share data only with services that help us run the product (for example hosting and AI inference for tutoring), under contracts that limit use to providing that service. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell data.
Retention
We keep pilot data only as long as needed to run the pilot, improve tutoring quality with parent permission, and meet legal obligations. Parents can ask us to delete a child’s profile and associated learning history; we will do so unless we must retain a minimal record for security or legal reasons.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encrypted transport, access controls, least-privilege admin access). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify affected parents as required.
Your choices
Parents can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing mikbalvia@aiduomind.com. You can also leave the pilot at any time.
Children
We design for children under parental control. If you believe a child has provided data without a parent’s involvement, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
International processing
We are based in Indonesia. Some processors (including AI API providers) may process data in other countries with appropriate safeguards.
Changes
We may update this policy as the pilot grows. The “Last updated” date above will change, and material changes will be emailed to pilot parents.
